The Family Stone

Mum and I had a date this afternoon to see "The Family Stone". I actually really enjoyed it - cried like a baby but then the whole cinema did!! It was good to see Sarah Jessica in a completely different role. I guess I was hoping for glimpes of Carrie (still missing SATC) but she almost seems more Charlotte like in this role. Anyway, good flick. Check out the trailer....

Try this out!!

My friend Brooke got me addicted to this website! Thanks Brookie :) You put in the name of an artist or group you like and then it suggests other kinds of music you may like. Great fun and I found some cool music I had never heard of. It does ask for your details after a few songs but you can continue to listen and get recommendations for free!!

Summer Holiday

Christmas Eve saw the annual Somerville Girls breaky at the Sheraton. It was great to catch up with everyone and hear the news.

After a leisurely chat and some lovely food, I headed up to Cooroy with the precious cargo entrusted to me (the prawns and salmon!!). I was so glad to be heading out of the heat of the city and up to the beach.

Christmas Day was great - hot as hell but nice. We had breaky down at Tewantin River and then headed to the beach for a swim. After some presents we lay around in the heat, swimming and generally doing very little. When it finally cooled down a little and Aunty Sue arrived we sat down to a delicious meal.

The next 10 days were filled with lots of beach time, sun, fun and shopping. Sonja and Sara came up for a visit and it was nice relaxing around Boroloola with them. I had a ball!! The first day back at work today was SO hard!!! All I could think of was being back at the beach! Let's hope tomorrow is a little easier :)
