Christmas Party season

So last Saturday my work threw a QLD wide Christmas Party at Seaworld on the Gold Coast. After initially asking employees to pay to attend, they realised the error in their ways (no one had RSVPed) and made employees free but still charged partners. They then very kindly made the bus from Brisbane to the Gold Coast free (again they were charging for this service) and all of a sudden 400 people decided to go!!

We arrived to some nice cold beverages which we were able to enjoy whilst watching a dolphin show. After a few champers, we headed to the roller coaster which really is more enjoyable after a few bubblies!! 2 rounds on that and we headed to the water ride, the flume, where we proceeded to get soaked but not enough to prevent ourselves going back for a second go!! After a feed and a water ski show we hit the dance floor and boogied the night away. Despites a few party dramas (aren't there always a few!) it was a fun night :)

I'm baaaaack!!

I am sure all of you have missed my enthralling updates. I apoloigse for my slackness but in my 4 weeks of absence from work there was a Mt Fuji amount of work piled up for me to catch up on. I am now house sitting for my Mum who is off relaxing on a coral cay up in north QLD (what a tough life some of us have!!). I PROMISE to update my blog this week with my photos of the trip. Man to be back in London......
